Open account in HDFC BANK

You will need certain documents to open the HDFC Savings Account and submit them in HDFC bank after proper formalities. The documentation process for Basic Savings Account is different in each case of individuals, Hindu Undivided Families and Joint Basic Savings Account. Here is a full list of documents you will need in order to maintain the account. 

Documents asked for opening a Basic Savings Account-

  • Two recent passport size photo. 
  • Age proof like birth certificate etc. 
  • If you are applying for a Joint account it requires ID proof (list of id proof mention below) documents of both the applicants and the address proof is needed only of the primary holder and a document establishing a relationship proof between both the parties.

  2. Aadhaar card
  3. Valid Passport

Kid’s Advantage Account:

Minimum balance- INR 5,000

ATM/International Debit Card issued 

Senior Citizens Account:

This savings scheme is wholly formulated to the senior citizens and gives benefits in relation to health, investment, and banking.

EasyShop International Debit Card issued

Family Savings Group Account:
This savings account scheme is a comprehensive banking solution for family, with benefits from a single account.

Minimum balance- INR 40,000 Interest rate – 4% EasyShop International Debit Card issued. 

Institutional Savings Account:

This Zero balance savings account are made available for NGO AND NPO

Interest rate – 4%

Minimum balance- NIL

Business Debit Card issued

BSBDA Small Account:

This is a zero balance savings account that comes with an ATM card that too free.

Minimum balance nil

RuPay Card issued.
